The 2021 Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) Buddy Walk® is such a festive and inspiring event that not even a pandemic can stop the CHOP Down syndrome community from celebrating.

Please join us on Sunday, Nov. 7 for a virtual program to honor your inspiring individual with Down syndrome as we dance and sing for more breakthroughs at the CHOP Trisomy 21 Program.

In addition to weekly fundraising challenges and team incentives, each team captain will be sent a CHOP Buddy Walk Celebration Kit to allow for maximum fun during the Nov. 7 virtual program — all to support breakthrough care and brighter futures for individuals with Down syndrome.

This year, we are celebrating the 20th anniversary of Buddy Walk having raised more than $4 million since 2002. During the past two decades, the CHOP Trisomy 21 Program has supported thousands of individuals with Trisomy 21, commonly known as Down syndrome. This event has created support groups, research projects and increased clinical days 6-fold during the past 20 years – and there is more work to be done!

Forming Teams

When you form a Buddy Walk® team, your friends and family can rally around your favorite individual with Trisomy 21 while building energy and passion for your shared mission: raising funds for CHOP’s Trisomy 21 Program. Your efforts are making a real difference in the lives of children, teens and adults with Down syndrome.
